Sallah

I was commissioned by my friend Feras, whom I had previously worked with on a documentary, to do audio for this commercial. The premise is that a salesman is trying to impress a customer by materializing objects in a virtual world. He goes to increasingly absurd lengths to impress the potential client by showing him more and more.

The sound of him snapping the objects into existence had to sound magical, digital, and consonant. For this I chose a computerized Cmaj7 chord. I also chose the music, which had to be comical and signal quality, recorded the foley, and mixed the final audio to broadcast standards.
