Collatz is a unique Max For Live device that processes incoming audio by running the Collatz conjecture on it. The audio is scaled to a usable range of positive integers, if the integer is even it is divided by two and if it is odd it is multiplied by three and increased by one. The result is a beautiful and noisy industrial distortion.
